The Grasslands Trust

The Grasslands Trust is a national conservation charity that was set up in 2002 to address the crisis facing wildlife-rich grasslands, 97% of which have disappeared since the Second World War. Their aim is to reverse this decline and reinstate grasslands as a significant part of our natural heritage for the benefit of people and wildlife.

In their first six years they have raised over £1.5 million which enabled them to take forward a number of grassland conservation projects across England and Wales as well as campaign for the better protection of wildlife-rich grasslands at a national level.
