An exiting opportunity to join the reserve habitat and estate management team at Leighton Moss has arisen. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience on a busy site. As part of the team, you will be heavily involved with the hands on habitat and estate management work on one of the UK's top wetland sites. Habitats present are varied with reedbed, fen, saltmarsh, estuary, limestone grassland, woodland all represented in one of the most diverse corners of the UK. We are looking for someone with sound ecological and wildlife knowledge with a practical and resourceful nature. Experience of wetland management and brushcutter, chainsaw & tractor certificates an advantage but not essential. There will also be an opportunity to get involved with and gain experience of a busy visitor operation.
