BTO cuckoos - What has happened to Kasper?

BTO satellite tracking cuckoos update

January 2012. As expected, the cloud cleared up last week and the strong sunshine meant that the Cuckoos tags charged and BTO received some locations from them. Interestingly, they did not charge to very high levels (which limited the number of locations received), suggesting they are spending time under the forest canopy or in other dense vegetation such as grass.

BTO haven't heard from Kasper since the 6th January and they are starting to get a little concerned, as this is the longest gap since transmissions for any of the Cuckoos. BTO have only received a single location from Martin in the same period and the tag charge is low for all of the Cuckoos.
