UK wildlife photography competition 2010

The UK has some of the world's best wildlife, but not enough people realise it. We want to promote the wildlife of the UK so we are asking you to send us your best shots of the UK's wildlife and we have lined up some decent prizes for the best in each category and we will also donate £500 to a UK wildlife charity to be nominated by the winner.  2009 winner, Lee Davies, asked us to donate to Wildlife Aid.

However the main aim of the competition is to encourage you to get out into the countryside and send us your photos, so we can showcase just what the UK has to offer.

No entry fee. We want everyone to have a go, so entry is free.

The winners of the birds and mammals categories will win an SP-800UZ. There are also 2 SP-600UZ cameras and  2 Olympus Mju TOUGH-8010 cameras to win

The winner of the Birds category will win a Colin Woolf print - Peregrine in flight.
