A young male tiger caught from the back of an elephant. Unfortunately this was taken outside Bandhavgarh National Park as this predator and his sister had just lost their mother to another female in a bitter fight.
One of the keys to any animal shot is to be on the level or even below the subject; fortunately this cat was perched high on rocks. They are probably old enough to survive on their own now but the pickings will be slim and fraught with difficulties if they stay outside the park.
